Groups are coming soon. Want to lead one? Let us know at hey@writingclub.world - you can either tell us you’re interested (generally) in leading a group or pitch us a specific idea for a group you’d like to lead.

What are groups? These will be small (ish) group chats with other writers who have a similar goal or interest to you. Our hope is that this will help making Writing Club more useful and connect you to people who are working on the same things you are. Examples of potential group topics:

• Short story fiction writers
• People who want to write a book
• New Substackers
• People who are trying to get writing jobs
• People who want feedback on their writing

Book clubs and similar may become part of this eventually, too.

P.S. If you’re wondering what happened to the Chat portion of the website, we ran it as an experiment this summer but ultimately don’t think it was very effective. We think Groups will be a better version of a live chat format.
